Uda Viharaya
This shrine, built by Queen Henakanda Biso Bandara, is found inside a cave in a small outcrop of rock. The cracked stone tiles is an apparent sign of the gradual decline of the cave.

Palle Viharaya
This shrine at Mampitiya, known as ‘Waahala Bandara Viharaya,’ is said to have been built after the beheading of Mampitiye Waahala Bandara in 1812, by remodeling their family shrine at Mampitiya. A portrait of Mampitiye Waahala Bandara is kept in the Shrine. An arch typifying the ancient Makara arches guards the entrance to the premises. The shrine’s murals have been painted with light colours, while its walls are plastered with kaolin.
