Kolagollapitiya Raja Maha Vihara is in the Pujapitiya Provincial Secretary’s Division located two kilometres left of the Ambatenna town on the A9 Highway from Kandy.

King Keerthi Sri Rajasinghe too had been present at the ‘Nethra Mangalya’ of the temple and a number of paintings of the Kandyan era too could be seen at the temple
